Can be accessed by clicking the preferences button on the Clip Extender Palette or thru the CopyPaste Utilities Menu. Holding the cursor over each item in the preferences brings up a helpful explanation. We recommend using the defaults if there is any question.
You can also turn the Utilities Menu on and off.
Clicking the “Utilities Setup...” button causes a dialog box to pop up:
The drop-down menu at the top allows you to switch between the Text, Date&Time, Picture, Internet and Miscellaneous Tools. This dialog box allows you to customize the Utilities settings. For example, you can assign a hot key to any frequently used Utility, or prevent unused Utilities from appearing in the menus.
Clicking the "Application Exceptions..." button causes a dialog box to pop up:
The drop-down menu at the top allows you to view the preadjusted settings for many different applications. You will rarely need to change any of the settings, however you can easily do so if you find an incompatibility.
